Measure the customer funnel
Track meaningful transitions such as enquiry received, qualified, product selected, cart created, checkout started, payment started, order confirmed, shipped and delivered. Message volume by itself does not show conversion quality.
Understand cost fields
| Metric | Interpretation |
|---|---|
| Revenue | Recorded order value for included statuses and date range. |
| COGS | Configured item unit cost plus applicable packing cost. |
| Shipping cost | Actual or configured business fulfilment cost, not merely the customer shipping charge. |
| Ad spend | Attributed or platform-level advertising cost; the report states which basis is used. |
| Net profit | Revenue less included COGS, shipping, advertising and other configured costs. |
Balance automation savings and outcomes
Automation Efficiency shows deterministic matches, AI or MCP calls avoided, estimated tokens saved and fallbacks. Compare those metrics with handoff, completion and conversion so cost reduction does not reduce answer quality.
