For Workspace administrators7 min readUpdated
Before you start
- An email address controlled by the workspace owner
- Access to the business Meta account and the phone number being connected
- A supported Chattill plan or assisted trial
- One person responsible for approving messages, policies and handoff ownership
Launch in seven steps
- Create or receive your isolated workspace and verify the owner email.
- Choose a plan and complete billing when required.
- Open Setup guide and connect WhatsApp through Meta Embedded Signup.
- Send a test message from a separate phone and reply from the Chattill Inbox.
- Invite teammates, assign the minimum required roles and enable two-factor authentication.
- Add your first FAQ or sequence and test expected, unexpected and opt-out replies.
- Review the Focus Queue, Tickets and Automation Efficiency pages before enabling broader traffic.
How to know the core setup is ready
The authenticated Setup guide derives progress from the workspace configuration. The core messaging setup is ready when the owner can sign in securely, an active WhatsApp number can receive a message, and the team can send a compliant reply.
| Check | Expected result |
|---|---|
| Inbound test | The customer message appears in Inbox under the correct workspace. |
| Outbound test | The reply reaches the same customer and its status is recorded. |
| Ownership test | The conversation can be assigned and appears in the correct team queue. |
| Fallback test | An unsupported request goes to AI or Human Required according to your configuration. |
